Title: Kamloops lakes
Post by: Ron Thompson on March 20, 2012, 04:24:58 PM
As of March 20 the ice is not close to being of other Kamloops lakes. People have been fishing Kamloops lake, but access has been poor due to low water levels (can't launch a trailered boat), so those who use pontoon boat have been out and catching the odd fish. We have some time before we can get out.

I was told Shannon Lake opened up a few days ago - alas, I am too busy to go.

Not to mention they had to close the Coquihalla tonite due to too much avalanche risk...

When do you think Jacko will be ice free?
