Sounds like a good plan Gord.  I think I will do a Grey Boy variant: Davie McPhail and Phil Rowley have inspired me!

I should really give this up, wrapping bits of fluff around a hook for fun just can't be normal!!

I'll be submitting one pattern for the swap, as I'm busy tying for a few other events/competitions.
For me, the quality of a trout is not measured in inches or pounds, but rather by the journey and circumstances that allowed our paths to cross...

I sat down at the vise at least 6 times this week, nothing is working! Lurked Davie Mac, John K, Phil R,still nothing. Decided to work in the garden, stepped on a nail >:(. Bingo rusty nail buzzer  with a touch blood, ah red in the wingbud. ;D

Inspiration comes from the weirdest places... I think we'll call you Van Gogh from now on Bob.  :)

You can call it the Tetanus Buzzer.
I will fish anywhere and find beauty in it.

Finishing off the last of my Grey Boys this morning.  I'll probably get them in the mail this week.

Looking forward to seeing all the great ties folks come up with again!

Dropped mine in the mail this afternoon...

Edited to add: Gordon, I mailed 14 flies (2 for each of the other 7 tyers), as there are ony 8 of us in the swap, and I don't need 2 of my own sent back to me.

Unfortunately a few people did not come through so I've given up waiting and will send what I have received.

Thank you for YOUR efforts, Gordon.  I guess summer fly swaps are a tough deal.  Too bad a few guys didn't follow through, but I'm sure those who did participate did a great job!

Cheers,
Chad
