Bose lake forest fire
« on: July 23, 2013, 09:34:06 PM »
Just to let some of you know in case you are heading that way there is a new fire that has started just above Bose lake. It was reported this afternoon and there are helicopters, tankers, heavy equipment and 50 some odd manpower trying to contain this aggressive fire as quickly as they can. Let cross our fingers and hope for the best and that this fire doesn't get out of control. :-\

That is for sure. Very close to Trojan.  I have fished Bose many times.

I like all fires to get put out fast, but this one moreso.
I will fish anywhere and find beauty in it.

Checked the forest fire site and they have contained the fire and is in mop up. Only burned 15 hectares. Thank you to the quick response and hard work the fire fighters provided.    :)
