It's going to be near -15C with wind chill tomorrow!  Are you serious Johnny?   :)

Actually, I'd go if I had the time.  But I got to work on a few things around the house and got a dinner engagement in the evening.
I will fish anywhere and find beauty in it.

I'd love to join you, but I'm in the middle of a reno project and have my shop dinner. I will be thinking of you out in the cold, and wish you a successful day on the water/ice!

Just pulling everyone's leg! :P I couldn't imagine how cold it would be in the cross wind area's of Hope. Actually it is nice to get some Christmas things done and take a bit of a break. Should have the urge in a week or two. Happy shopping!!

And here I was thinking of taking you up on this offer.

I chase the allure of standing in a river, casting dries in an attempt to watch that beast come up and take my fly.  Then I usually blow it by setting the hook to soon....

I don't think that he's hiring a guide...

Well John, I was going to take the early Ferry over and joing you - but by the time I finished bringing in all the frozen Hummingbird feeders, thawing them out and putting in more sweet stuff - I missed the damn thing.  You just can not believe how aggressive those little suckers are when you don't give them their morning coffee!!
I Fish - therefore I am!

You are a trooper Dougie! I am a hunter so cold is not a problem but that wind is! Can you imagine how quickly the water temps are going down right now!

My wife put out the feeder too and there were eight of them all huddled around it. I thought they would be in Mexico by now?

Well I went out today. Caught nothing. Water has dropped since the comp, a little colour still. Then went to a creek nearby...it was almost iced over. Best option was the last river i hit but I didnt have the set up I wanted.

And my mom also has the hummingbird feeders out.  One is currently under a red heat lamp.
