We will get the link out soon, but most rivers have reopened to fishing!

Good news for sure!

I will fish anywhere and find beauty in it.

All of Region 1 (minus the cowichan which opensOctober 1 or December 31 for anyone from the lower mainland ;) ) is now open as well.

Use discretion when fishing trout in these waters as some may still get over 18 degrees... but get out there and have fun!

Hit the river today. Was great to be on the water again save for the 5mm tear in the crotch of my waders that I discovered!  :o. Water is definitively cooling off according to my science test.

Mike, that's the exact same thing that happened to me last month with my waders!  Never had that before.

Look out for those peamouth chub matt, thems aiming for you ;-)
I chase the allure of standing in a river, casting dries in an attempt to watch that beast come up and take my fly.  Then I usually blow it by setting the hook to soon....

Mike, you're not sneaking up on ANYBODY anymore in the standings...  I think sabotage was deliberate on your waders!
