How are Loop reels?
« on: December 25, 2015, 06:26:46 PM »
I am purchasing a new fly reel and so far I am considering the FW 5-7 loop evotec G4, or the Galvan torque T-6. I am wondering if anyone has had experience with loop reels, how do they preform? How is the quality? I am also curious if anyone has a Galvan torque, how are they?

Thanks in advance ;)

Sounds good, thanks for your input. I will look further into the torque. One question I had was wether or not grit and sand would get into the reel. I understand the torque is not sealed, but would it still be smooth and suitable after a dunk under water, or a day on the water for that matter?
