I recently purchased a drogue (Lindy drift sock) for my 12 ft boat for comp fishing and looking for the correct set up
ie rope length, where to attach the floatation foam etc

I like a 12 foot rope and attach my float roughLy 1 foot from the drogue (can be adjusted on the fly), so it'll keep it from snagging on debris or weeds.
For me, the quality of a trout is not measured in inches or pounds, but rather by the journey and circumstances that allowed our paths to cross...
