Info for Jasper and Banff areas
« on: August 22, 2016, 07:04:39 AM »
Hi Guys, I'll be in these areas last week of september and I would like to wet a line for few hours in each of the locations. Could you give me some information about which rivers are still open, easiest access to the rivers and so on, please. If you don't want to share your spots, please pm me. I'll keep the secret ;-)
Thanks

Jasper: Fly fishing only: Maligne River from a point 420 m downstream from the Maligne Lake Outlet bridge to Medicine Lake including that part of Medicine Lake within a 180 m radius of a point in the middle of the Maligne River where it enters Medicine Lake.
I used to fish it where it enters Medicine Lake.

The Athabasca River is closed to protect spawning RMW.

Thanks Ray for your help. If any of you are visiting the area, contact Ray. He will put you into fish like he put me ;-) Can't wait to come back and fish more those waters...
