Day Road Trip to Merritt on Saturday, October 22, 2016
« on: October 19, 2016, 11:43:47 AM »
Is anyone interested in doing a day trip to Merritt on Saturday with me?

I need to remove all of the forgotten beat marker stakes (and do a little fishing in between of course). Can't promise any fish, but inly a long drive with some good conversation and company. A steamy cup of Tim Hortons coffee will be on me...

Email me at: toishis@gmail.com , phone me,or post a reply here.

Thanks,
Todd

I am heading to Penticton that day with Tina. Maybe I could grab the ones on the backside on Old Hedley road and meet you down at the hwy junction if that helps. Can't say I will have my waders and gear but I could work on that.   Maybe  lol

That would be awesome, Johnny! Just grab the ones that you can find, and bring them to the Mill Lake competition if you like. Might be easier for you, instead of waiting to meet me at a specific location (tough to judge exactly how long this will take and where I'll be at any given time. I'd hate to hold you guys up.

It would be appreciated if you would text me with the names of the beats that you've cleared or left the stakes.

Let me know if this will work for you.

Thanks,
Todd

No worries, Chris. I remembered that you were tied up this weekend.

Thanks,

12 car pull out had all  of the stakes removed by the controllers and anglers from both sides of the river.

 No need to stop there.
If only I had a penny for every time I thought about fishing.

90 degree bend will have been done as well.

Ball park diamond was NOT fully done.
