Thanks Brian!! It wouldn't be a party without a few knuckle heads joining in on the fun...  8) 8)

An email was sent out to all of the registered competitors a few minutes ago. Please ensure that you and your team mate have received it and remember to bring the signed waiver form, 3 score cards, and $10.00 entry fee to the event.

I also need to know if anyone needs to borrow a drogue and thwart boards, so please respond or post here, so I can bring them for those that are without the necessary equipment...

I would like to remind everyone to be early so we can start the morning session on time. This is an electric motor only lake, and a fairly large lake, so the sooner we can leave the dock, the better.

Drive safely and see all of you Saturday morning!

Cheers,
Todd

I had an awesome time with the other competitors at this competition! The weather co-operated, there were lots of trout were caught and released, and plenty of stories about "the one that got away!" There were certainly a lot of hatches happening during the competition, which was most likely the main reason why the fishing was so productive!

This was by far one of the most productive competitions so far this season, as everyone caught fish and we caught a combined total of 278 trout, with the biggest fish being by Megan Oishi and Rob MacCrae (tied) at a whopping total of 49 centimeters in length!

Thanks to all of the competitors that came out for Saturday's competition! Congratulations to the other team and individual medalists, and a special thanks to Bobby Danilkiewicz and Brian Danilkiewiczfor barbecuing lunch for the group!

Please share any photos that you took at this event or email them to me and I'll post them for you.

Cheers,
Todd

It was a food factory!  We had scuds, leeches, caddis, damsels, dragons, polywogs and that afternoon mayfly hatch. My head is still spinning!

I agree, Mike! I would have loved to have been able to stay longer and fish it on Sunday. That was a great day of fishing and time spent with the group, both on and off the water!

What a great event. The sun was shining, bugs were hatching, and the fish were biting. It's doesn't get better than that.. 😎🎣👍🏽
