Flaming Buzzers
« on: April 30, 2018, 06:27:11 PM »
A good attractor pattern for both buzzers type imitations and mayflies when needed. Sunburst is a difficult colour to attain on many organic materials. Good dye masters can get it perfect. It is also a colour we simple do not use enough of in this part of the world unfortunately.

Very nice pattern and tying job! Thanks for sharing!!
For me, the quality of a trout is not measured in inches or pounds, but rather by the journey and circumstances that allowed our paths to cross...

Thank you all. There is just something about the colour of Sunburst that trout simply love. I have been playing with a lot of Sunburst on many different materials. Good Sunburst I have found is hard to get as many of the materials dye differently. Sometimes a hot dye will work better than a cold dye on some materials. Other times it is reversed. Due to the two different dying process on various materials it is difficult to get a consistant colour of sunburst on many of the materials. Thank goodness I have a dye Master in England to work with on this great colour.
