Fly fishing Road Trip
« on: July 24, 2018, 05:11:29 AM »
Hi guys, so I have two weeks free at the end of august and decided to do a fly fishing road trip with acouple friends. I have a wedding in Kelowna so I would have to end there. The goal of the trip is to explore some remote area of Alberta/BC and get into so solid trout. Browns, bulls, and cutties are the main targets. A side goal would be to check out some quality fly fishing operations as I am starting up a fishing travel company and would love to offer clients lodges and operations in that part Canada.

If anyone would be willing to chat or give me some suggestions preferably via PM it would be most appreciated.

Thanks, Gil

I'd hit the rivers and streams on both slopes of the Rockies. The Bow River and Elk River are great places to visit at that time of year!
For me, the quality of a trout is not measured in inches or pounds, but rather by the journey and circumstances that allowed our paths to cross...
