Competition #4 of the 2015 B.C. Provincial River Fly Fishing Championships

Date: Sunday, March 15, 2015.
Location: Vedder/Chilliwack River.
No Fishing Period: All competition beats are closed to fishing as of 8:00am Monday, March 9, 2015.
Targeted Species: Trout, northern pike minnows, and whitefish.
All participants must wear CSA Approved Personal Flotation Devices (PFDs) and eye protection!

Anglers needed!!!
Unfortunately, one of our winter league's competitors has withdrawn from the 2015 B.C. Provincial River Fly Fishing Championship. This now leaves a vacant spot that we need to fill. The first competition slot that we need to fill is for Competition that is being held at the Vedder River on Sunday, March 15, 2015.

No previous competitive angling experience necessary...

Not necessarily, you must discuss this matter with your team mates, and determine who will be sitting out for this competition. By the way, Danny is missing the March competition (Competition #3) not this one.

Please talk to you team and let me know who will be sitting out, as soon as you guys make a decision.

When will we get an idea of the area we will be fishing?

John Wilkinson and Tony Moore are being consulted and helping us to identify the best waters for the beats, as they know this river better than any of the competitors. We will send maps via email to the 32 competitors and all interested parties, as soon as the competition waters have been identified.

The beats will be in the canal area and in the upper stretches, with plenty of room and large beats for everyone. Competitors should practice both above and below the Vedder Crossing Bridge if they want to familiarize themselves with this river.
