Courtney Lake ice off
« on: April 23, 2012, 01:29:57 PM »
Word from the lake itself is that Courtney Lake is open of ice as of midday today.  I mention it not only because it is a favourable (but tough) lake for me, but it is also a good judge of when other lakes are popping off.  Courtney is often the first of the 3300-3500' elevation lakes to break open, and everything from Kane Valley to Princeton opens up 7-10 days after.

It's my cue to strap the boat on the Jeep and tell the guys at work they can call me if they need me...
I will fish anywhere and find beauty in it.

Sounds very tempting Chris....
For me, the quality of a trout is not measured in inches or pounds, but rather by the journey and circumstances that allowed our paths to cross...
