Echo Stillwater Rod Reviews?
« on: October 05, 2019, 08:58:11 PM »
Hi All. Curious if anyone has experience with Echo's Stillwater fly rod (https://echoflyfishing.com/project/stillwater/). It seems to be geared towards the competitive angler. I have never owned an Echo rod, so curious about this particular one because I will be in the market for rod in the near future. Any comments are grateful. Thanks!

Hi Chris, I've never fished nor heard of this new rod from Echo. Very interested to have a look at one. I really like Echo as a rod company though- great warranty, affordability, and making rods designed for specific applications. Hopefully a few reviews start showing up. Good luck with the rod search!

I haven't bought an echo rod in the last couple of years, but their trend was always a very good rod for the money.  I have had their nymphing rods and lake rods in the past and never been disappointed.  Though I haven't tried the new rods, so this may not apply as a strong endorsement.
I will fish anywhere and find beauty in it.
