For me, the quality of a trout is not measured in inches or pounds, but rather by the journey and circumstances that allowed our paths to cross...

Interesting spin using Tunkwa as well in the event!

I'm pretty sure Mergansers will have a team attending.  So count us in.
I will fish anywhere and find beauty in it.

Yes, the single fly session will make it very interesting, and serves an excellent training session for other international events that have single fly sessions.

Tunkwa Lake was the obvious choice as one of the venues for the North America Loch-Style Championships, as it was used as a venue for the 1993 World Fly Fishing Championships (2013 will be the 20th anniversary of that event). As well; it's an ideal lake for loch-style fly fishing, and boasts a strain of trout (Kamloops Rainbow Trout) that is world-famous for its incredible strength and jumping ability!

Sounds great Claude. I like the idea of the single fly portion being held at Tunkwa.

Hi Todd,
I plan to be there next year as a competitor this time. Looks like I will be solo at this point.
Thanks, looking forward to it.

If someone says you fish too much, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

Just a reminder that there's still room for 2 International Teams...

Todd,
If you could throw my name onto the waiting list for individuals I would appreciate it. If that doesn't pan out please consider me as a volunteer. Thanks. Going to Manitoba earlier this year to make room for the Tunkwa trip.

Thanks John! I've added your name to the list.

It'd be great to have you at the event either as a competitor or volunteer.
