Well was out there again today
weather was a bit different, breezy and the water was choppy
i tried the same spot and the fish were still there
i tired a full sink set up and it did better at first,  then the sink tip set up seemed to be better, at one point i had one on and just as it jumped out of the water another one jumped right next to it then i realized i had a double header , by the time i picked up the other rod it was off, so much fun
I even got some on chironomid (needed a break from paddling all day)
just as i was leaving the wind had dropped and it was flat calm and i could see lots of fish rising all over the lake

Great to hear!  Many other people out with you?

Don't catch them all before the next event!   ;)

But it sounds like you are warming up pretty darn good for it...

I was on my own but a few other anglers out there, pretty quiet for a local lake ;D

It looks like they've put 5000 fish in over the past month, so that should provide some sport!

I can't wait to get out myself.
